Shereen El-Feki: How to fight an epidemic of bad laws

In this video, El-Feki used AIDS as an example of how bad legislations being made and how are they “ruining the lives of people” by being implemented.

There are many legislations and policies that put different groups of people under a lot of stigmas & being criminalized by society thru e.g. law. It is indeed that there are “bad laws” exist in the name of protecting public, but instead they excluded more and more people who need help, as a result vicious cycle runs and circulates in society like crazy. For example, sex workers are both forbidden to work in the streets and in flats together (2 or more people working together) in Britain, which cause a lot of problems – not just sex workers left in vulnerable positions, but also more than likely causing epidemic problems and so on for the society…
