My brain must be in some very weird state when this happened,
yet one fine day my brain randomly come to “An Education” the film.
Since the film had no intention to show on television,
so I went to the library to borrow the book.
Basically the most attractive bits within the memoir were the bit that was made into films, and the bit about her work as a editorial assistant in Penthouse Magazine. While I don’t envy a single life she had when she was sixteen, I liked her job as an editorial assistant in Penthouse, it seemed so fun and so exciting, plus the job seemed not something difficult for me to do well on.
As for the coping with death, people who had similar experiences would find comfort in words she produced, while the rest…were extremely fine to dismissed, unless you have known Ms Barber before she wrote the memoir.
